Basically, their income was not coming from their pay check but rather profits of investments and that qualifies them to belong to the upper social class.
There were two warring families in this show and both of them are best observed to belong to the lower class. That was a twist because rivalry is mostly expected among rich dynasties. Nevertheless, the family members hailed from backgrounds of peasant farmers. There wasn’t a single asset they had except for the tiny parcel of land which they were fighting over. In essence, they lived for the day with no hopes of the survival if they were to stop working for a short period of time.
This particular show featured two young stars that both came from average families. commonly referred to as the middle class category. The gentleman had a good house, two cars and a good job.
