A good critique should include the following points:
What is being observed? – an orchestra concert? a stage play? a museum exhibition?
Who created/produced the work? What are some biographical details about the artists that help to inform your perspective of the art? (The Illusionists)
What is the style and genre of the work? (The Illusionists)
Why is the work significant? (culturally or personally)
What was the public’s/audience’s reaction to the work?
