Edward Snowden is a hero, to every country that despises the United States. He chose to violate the Espionage Act of 1917 and disclose to the world, secrets that were best left untold and compromised the security of the United States. We don’t get to choose what laws we follow, even if we think others are violating laws and our violation is then justified. The potential for damage to our countries ability to gather information on the activities of other countries, that could effect our security , outweighed any benefit. The fact that Russia is harboring him, should be enough for us to realize this guy is a hero to them ….and a traitor to us.
